FAQ – ProLight

What is spray lining?

Spray lining is a trenchless rehabilitation method where liquid epoxy resin is applied to the interior pipe wall via a rotating spray head. ProLight atomises the epoxy and distributes it evenly as the head moves through the pipe — no digging required.

What is brush coating?

Brush coating applies epoxy using a mechanical brush head that spreads a controlled, thicker layer onto the pipe wall. ProLight supports both spray and brush methods.

What is the difference between spray lining and brush coating?

Spray lining produces a thinner, uniform layer by atomisation — faster and better for longer sections. Brush coating applies a thicker layer by direct contact — preferred where heavy build-up is required.

What pipe diameters does ProLight cover?

ProLight rehabilitates pipes from DN40 to DN125. For pipes up to DN150, ProLight2 with Double Press is available.

What epoxy is used with ProLight?

ProLight is compatible with Nodig BSE Epoxy — a 2K two-component epoxy with outstanding adhesion, elasticity and hardness. Available in two colours for visual layer control.

Does ProLight need electricity on site?

No. ProLight is fully pneumatic, running on compressed air only. Safe for wet environments and confined pipe spaces — no electrical connection needed.

ProLight vs ProLight2 – which should I choose?

Choose ProLight for standard single-press work on DN40–DN125. Choose ProLight2 when you need higher flow, pipes up to DN150, or faster execution with two cartridges simultaneously.
